New lug nuts showed up today, and I finally got my e-brake working again, it only took about a month, ugh.

Just a few before pictures before a couple more parts show up on Monday

Just a bit of picture whoring... unless it's in direct sunlight you can't really see it, but a flash makes it jump out

A buddy of mine helped me fix the rust under the battery tray yesterday, it came out great

And the strut bar to match

Flame if you must, but I kinda like it, lol

I'm just now finding the time to update my progress from last Tuesday, haha.

These showed up Tuesday, 15mm spacers for the front, and 25mm spacers for the back

Installing them...

The rear hubs had to be machined a bit, the chamfer wasn't quite big enough, not to big of a deal though

Some before pics...

And after, MUCH better, fronts are perfect, but I think I still want the rear tires to come out a bit further

And some shots of the engine bay with my new paint

I also picked up some 2.3 valve springs and retainers a few months ago

I picked up some 2.3 35mm lifters and cam towers at the bash from Jason, I'm probably gonna buy new lifters. Pics with the W41 cams to match

Intake side

Exhaust side

And then just some whoring of it on the dyno and at the track at the Bash

About 121hp, which comes out to be about 133 on the Dynojet, which is about the same as last year.

And a 15.9, damn hot weather.

He wasn't pulling on me until the 1/8, haha. I had a car on him until he hit 3rd gear.

Finally went out and took some pictures of the back end, of course I waited to long and the sun was almost going down... but oh well.

Mmmmm, wide I think I want to bump the rear wheels out further though...

I also had a set of Eibach sway bars show up Friday, that I ordered 3 months ago... ugh. But, for $220 brand new, I'll wait 3 months.

You know how you get used to what your car is capable of, and it starts to not really excite you anymore? Well just getting the rear sway bar on changed everything, it's a completely different car, and I haven't even put the bigger front sway bar on. I haven't had that much adrenaline coursing through my veins in a long, long time... fucking epic.

I was expecting the car to be pretty twitchy with just the rear bar, but I wanted to try it out for myself. It now sits right on the edge, The car has a completely different feeling, I'm not really sure what the feeling is, but from what I can tell, it's dancing between oversteer and understeer. Turn in is unbelievably sharp, and slalom is a million times better. Already there is very little body roll through corners.

Hands down, the best thing I've ever done to this car, and it's only half way done, haha.

I decided to mess around with the projector head lights that were on the car when I bought it, they were ugly SOBs...

Baked the lens off and started tearing it apart...

I messed around with the trim piece for a while, but overall just decided to ditch it, so after some taping and sanding...

And some satin black...

I'm not sure about the stainless ring around the projector quite yet, I might pull them back apart and black that out as well.

Then I picked up some yellow Lamin-x from a friend, it's nice to know people in the vinyl business
The left fog has one layer of yellow Lamin-x, the right has two layers...

And both with two layers

As it sits now, I think I've got a ballast on it's way out though :/
